A lion and a Queen

This is not your dream,

So you let me go;

That cold night with stars above,

Joy left my soul.

You can smile away my thunder,

Kiss away my pain.

Your laughter is the sweetest sound,

Your face my sunshine.

I have crossed many rivers,

Many more lands to conquer.

The dark long road I left you,

Still the longest walk ever.

In the smiles and banter,

The laughter and triumph,

Listen to the sob: of a lion

Whose queen let him go
